Hamsa Pathrika

One fine afternoon, like any other weekend I sat with coffee in my balcony wondering about the monotony in life. It was then I received a letter... a letter that tickled my grey cells.

The letter read:

"Amidst the lot of everyday happenings that we come across everyday, few unusually adorable things go unnoticed. I am one such unique swan with the ability to identify peculiar flavors around us. But I have been staggering to find out a medium to communicate all that I identify. After a lot of my attempts going in vain, I chose to write to you.

I'll convey all special things that I find around me and it is my humble request that you bring such things to limelight. Let people realize the hidden zest around them. but will also add spice to their lives.

The world around us is vivid, charming and colorful. It is up to us to either enjoy differences in shades or to look at it in a grey tone. "

Every word in the letter seemed to strike a chord inside me. It made me think if boredom was in things around us or was it our mind that ignored the exceptionally unique things around. The abilities of this swan are hidden somewhere even inside us. Our ignorance has made us miss the very esscence of bliss... distinguishing the special unusual from the less-important usual.
